  1. You can destroy it in literally one shot. Or just run away. Believe me, there are ways of dealing with it. And if you got killed by a drone, then most likely you deserved it (no offense, I get killed by drones quite often, too).
  2. I'm interested in how they would check if a person is cheating when it's a hard case and you can't accuse him of using cheats for sure. Like would they spectate him like in the CS:GO overwatch programme, view game logs or what? Because I've already been accused of cheating a couple times.
  3. Return to castle Wolfenstein. Still remember the sound of siren in the first level ?
  4. Standing sniper with all SRs or just the almighty TOR?
  5. It's the default useless tank with no active armor/gunner turret/APS that costs around 3000. One good fully customized battle-ready life form destroyer terminator tank costs at least 5150 or even 5550. That's almost 2 times more than a shelling. You can get this amount of points which is sufficient for a good tank when there are whole 15-20 minutes remaining in the match, so it's pretty good.
  6. Well, I won't bother trying after I spent 2 hours in the loading screen and around an hour installing base game and the patch one after another. Glad at least some people managed to try it out. By the way, how do you like this patch? Does it make the game harder overall? Adds more dynamic or supports camping?
  7. How could you guys even play? I've been stuck in the loading screen for about 2 hours total. Seems like it's a PTE of a new loading screen and not a new patch.
  8. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): when I noticed that the PTE was out, I immediately activated and downloaded it, after that I only managed to enter the game just once. I customized my character a bit, then quit the game and when I relaunched it , it was unable to be played -- the 'loading WW3 network' screen didn't let me pass to the game for about 30 minutes in total. Checking my local files made me redownload 8 corrupt files, but this didn't help at all. When I relaunched the game I got stock at the loading screen just again. After that I wanted to launch WW3 without the PTE, chose the "I refuse participating in any beta-programmes" in the game's properties and suddenly Steam started redownloading 4,9 Gb of content for the game. It's about the same size that I downloaded for the PTE patch to apply. And now every time I try to change from PTE to base game and back I have to redownload 4,9 Gb of content. This is very irritating as well as the game losing it's playerbase with every day due to the poor Early Access release on Steam. GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 3288304 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): start participating in the PTE, play the game for a bit, then try relaunching it, then cancel the PTE participation in the game's properties and you'll have to redownload 4,9 Gb of files. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): CRASH LOG (if any):
  9. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): when I customized my soldier in the main menu of the game to my liking the results were seemingly applied, but when I connected to a server and started playing they reverted to the previous looks I had. Screenshots applied: 1. this is the bugged player skin. 2. this is how it should have looked. Notice the soldier holding the same UKM MG (which I have only used in this very match just after customizing the soldier's looks), but wearing clothes of different colours. GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 3271209 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): it looks like you have to customize your character some way, play with this customization a game or more, then change your looks and enter another game. You will then see that your looks haven't changed to the new variant and remained like they were after the first bot not the second customization. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): CRASH LOG (if any):
  10. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): while prone and equipped with an AR with a bipod and trying to reload the MG reloading animation will play instead of the corresponding AR's reloading animation. GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 3264927 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): I experienced this bug only with AK-15 (because it's the only AR that I attached a bipod to), but I guess it also takes place with other weapons. To reproduce this bug you must choose a class equipped with an AR with a bipod, shoot some bullets, then lie down and try to reload the magazine. An MG reloading animation will play, which takes much more time than an AR's reloading animation and is ruining the realistic experience. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): CRASH LOG (if any):
  11. @Yuzuri, @Viper95, thank you for your responses. It seems I was mistaken about the barrels. They seem useful now.
  12. It seems I didn't express my thoughts quite understandable. I wasn't talking about looking around while falling or jumping, but after you have fallen to the ground. It is not about bunny-hopping or changing your movement direction in the middle of the jump before even hitting the ground or about landing 5 headshots while flying. It's about getting up as quick as you can (and not slowly and majestically like it is now) to shoot the enemy or run into cover.
  13. It seems to me that at the moment the most rational and effective way to use a gun is to set a short barrel in the attachments section, because short barrels have 4 times less recoil (0.05 for the short barrels against 0.2 for the long barrels) and also the same damage. I guess it should be vice versa. My question is: why are long barrels even featured in the game if they don't give any benefits at all (long barrels are more easy to notice, they weigh more, the recoil is higher and the damage doesn't increase with long barrels)? Are you, the developers, going to change long barrels somehow or are they going to remain just like they are now?
  14. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): just as said in the title, vaulting or jumping off some high point (for example, from the second floor in Warsaw trade center, from the second floor in Moscow buildings etc.) makes you unable to look around freely: your screen becomes kind of 'fixed' to one point and even if you try to move your mouse around it doesn't help -- the character proceeds looking in this one point until some time (like 1 second) passes. This 1 second pause is actually very critical in the game process. I could understand this being a feature in a slow-paced game like ArmA, but in WW3 it is really essential to be active and move a lot, sometimes jump off ledges and floors or vault and also be able to shoot. Right now you are unable to shoot after vaulting/jumping off a ledge because the screen gets fixed looking in one point and thus you become an easy prey for any enemy. GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 3250942. STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): jump off second floor, high (approximately 2-3 meters) ledge, vault over any object. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): CRASH LOG (if any):
