  1. Happend to me on every single match today. As soon the server is full / overpopulated it freezes. EU servers. Talking about that in the bug section FYI.

  5. Thanks for your replies guys. It's always hard to identify the cause for stuttering in an online game. As a player you always have the feeling that the problem may be related to your hardware, software or drivers. So I'm glad you are aware of the problem and trying to fix it.
  6. I had no problems. Download was scheduled but downloaded and installed without hassle after starting it manually.

It didn't appear on every round, so it could be a problem on certain servers only. Following video, especially on minute 1:08, will show the stuttering. Latency and frames seems fine. Aside from that, I get much better performance on Moscow now.

  9. I like the new server browser. It needs some polishing but so far a very good addition. In the future, I would like to be able to see server details (i.e right click, then you see IP, player list and so on) and secondly, to open the server browser during a running game, so you can search a new game and (possibly) queue up if server is full. Performance-wise I'm quite happy with the current PTE, I had the impression that there was more stuttering but no CTD so far and frames were over 100 most of the time. Not sure why my system barely ever crashes, but hey, I take it ?. I'm really sorry for all others tho.

  11. Would love to see that too. Best place to display these stats would be in the kill screen, as as mentioned by @seeneonu. It would be enough to have total stats per attacker like in the cs days via console (75 hits given to attacker_a, 25 hits given to attacker_b)
  12. Thanks for your feedback. As soon the server browser will be available, I will do some testing with specific server IP's (i.e Frankfurt servers) to gather more data on this topic.
  13. I'm not really bothered by the number in the top left. But every time the game feels laggy, sluggish or choppy the latency in the top corner is >80 ms. When the server is only half full, and the latency is around 40-50 ms, the game response is so much more snappy and thus more enjoyable. Perhaps many of the other players won't notice this, because they have (massive) performance problems with their rigs and / or living far away from the servers. I have to admit, that my system is coping really well with ww3, I have quite stable fps of ~120 most of the time, so I may notice the increase of the latency more than others.
  14. Is this even a feature atm? Perhaps it is only luck because there is only one server populated in your region ?. I get it, perhaps they could implement a reconnect button like in other games. The cool down I'm talking about could be quite short, perhaps 20-30 seconds to give you the chance to quit and re-queue.
  15. I wonder if the current server performance is good enough? A typical sign of a stressed server is skyrocketing latency when many connections establish. I can experience this on almost any match. If there are 10 people are on the server, ping is usually at around ~50 ms (if lucky), as soon as the server gets full it spikes up to 80 ms or even over 100 ms. As latency is a key component in FPS games to enjoy them, I would like to see pings constantly on the same level, independent on how many players are connected. Also, lately the server performance symbols on top left popping up more often (I assume they display server performance problems and loss?) I think in general, latency to ww3 servers are too high. I know, I am spoiled by my fiber connection and the excellent peering of my provider. I live in central Europe and normally I get pings of 8-30 ms in shooters like BF4 or BF1. Also pings to i.e. Frankfurt (de-cix) are never higher then approx. 30 ms. Even London is not that much higher.
  16. It would be great if the quick join method would have some sort of cool down / temporary ignore function in connecting to the last server. Especially in current state of the game, quick join is almost the only option to jump into a game in a reasonable time. I would be nice, if the quick join would ignore the last connected server for a certain time to give the system a chance to find another server. It is quite frustrating if you look for another map / server and you are constantly re-connecting to the same server.

  18. Does anyone has a secondary PTE client in steam now? I had to re-download the official patch after testing PTE 0.3.

  20. Imo revive is not needed, but some sort of squad play optimisation would be great. For example let the squad leader spawn on his squad mates or perhaps even let everyone spawn on any squad member. Problem is when squad leader dies, the squad often gets scattered all over the place.
  21. Thanks for your feedback. Just to report back, it also happens with the live patch now. Seems like you can disable it in the developer settings in UE4 (https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/441149/view.html). If anyone out there has the same problem, you can add -nohmd to the WW3 launch options to disable SteamVR (worked for me with the vive headset). P.S. I was more joking about a VR version of WW3, but nevertheless some (partial) integration would be awesome.

DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): PTE Update 0.2.1 still starting SteamVR GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 3324385 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): Starting game will also start SteamVR (and with it the base stations, headset, changes audio output). When trying to shut down SteamVR it also closes the game. So there is somewhat a connection between those two. Is this a hint for a VR version of WW3? ? SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): Intel Core i7 5930K @ 4.1GHz, 32GB RAM DDR4-2660, GTX 1080Ti CRASH LOG (if any):
