  1. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 9804373852980374650981730498145 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): DIE DIE DIE SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): N/A CRASH LOG (if any): N/A
  2. Once again stuck while going prone near the tree. After some struggle got out. Map Berlin, point C1.
  3. OK I lied. ?I will continue this topic. I changed my mind and -this- has reasons to be reported as bug. I didn't notice it before, but one part of the smoke grenades is rendered inside the turret. You can see this in the first attached screen shot to the bug report as well. PS. Indeed looks awesome. It is also very useful in the game. ^^ <offtopic> Sadly, the smoke grenades are not refilled in the repair station, are they? </offtopic>
  4. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): Went prone on Moscow map near the C1 objective on the outside stairs leading to the roof of the building. I guess it has something to do with collision detection. Perhaps going prone may allow to put legs of the soldier into the obstacle (here wall). Tried to move into different directions, pressed space etc. With no effect. See video: GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): Not sure. The video is dated, but most likely it is patch 0.2. I decided to post it since bug is still present in latest version 3343723. STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): Go prone near C1 in the place from the video. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): N/A CRASH LOG (if any): N/A
  5. @Kony cool, thanks. If I spot any other annoying (a'la Connor MacLeod trees), then I'll report it in the bugs section.
  6. Somehow there are matches where one team starts to play sooner and capture most of the objectives. Such a match mostly ends with the team dominating the game and winning. It's silly that game starts with unbalanced players on the scoreboard. Also somehow some players are on the scoreboard, but actually join later? Many games introduce warm-up phase. Game does not start "for real" until necessary number of player actively join the match. I think the WW3 could benefit from such system (or other of sort). Especially in pair with lobby system mentioned by someone else. I leave the details of how warm-up should work for later. If people second the idea, I'm sure you will figure this out.
  7. Isn't reckon supposed to be WW3 battle-royale twist?
  8. The trees on the Berlin map on the point A2 provide cover from an artillery strike. That is, the bullets explode on top of the trees. Is it intended? I guess not consciously. Should the bullets reach the ground anyway? Hell yeah! How it works in RL? Have no idea. How it impacts gameplay? Isn't the artillery strike less effective? It should trash the trees to the ground. But the trees are "immortal" in the game, so that kinda sucks.
  9. Is that right? ? Well, looks odd. I'll try to explain why and forget about the topic. It's minor issue and I don't want to rage wars about it. Was the intention to make them look like they are fired from the smoke grenade launcher? Would be cool. Or just emphasize their presence? If I understand correctly, the attachment on the right side of the turret is the smoke grenade launcher. And the grenades itself are nowhere the place I imagine them. Also it does not seem consistent with the rest of the customization system. For example, why only smoke grenades are shown? Why there are, for example, no APC rockets (or whatever is there that kills the RPGs)?
  10. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): Smoke grenades are detached from the wolverine (see sreenshot) GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 33355211 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): First I moved to the customization, then unlocked new MSBS weapon, further customized it and clicked play button. The animation of the weapon started, but it was oddly offset (rotating not in the center of the view). Next I switched to the Wolverine and add active armor and smoke grenades. Once smoke grenades were added, they immediately were detached from the Wolverine. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): N/A CRASH LOG (if any): N/A
  11. Average player moves horizontally (strafe). Adding vertical movement (crazy jumps) makes aiming for me only harder - especially if it is not expected. I encountered it more then I would like in close, "surprise moth..." fights.
  12. Such a "serious" game, and players can almost "bunny-hop" like in Counter Strike. What are your ideas to prevent players from "jumping" as a dodge strategy? I think we all can agree it is kinda silly.
  13. First of all some clarification - I'm not fully aware how the "spawn in the vehicle" system works. But it often seem to not work. So here's the loose idea how I imagine it should work. If both conditions are met: there is an APC on the map (let's say Rosomak) there is a place in it Then players should be able to spawn inside it. That is, spawn as its passengers. But additional conditions could make this idea even better: the APC is not under fire for N seconds (let's say 10?) the APC is hidden (?) (not marked, not visible on minimap etc.?) the APC "lock" type match the player status (locked - team, whole team can spawn; locked - squad, whole squad can spawn; locked - locked, nobody can spawn) The implications of implementing such feature are: It would provide safe spawn point for the players, which in current situation is very valuable It would increase the possibility of tactical gameplay in WW3. APC could hide in critical place (not participating in firefight due to "no under fire" condition). That is providing logistical support. This is also very valuable since traversing the map is... well, tedious. If there would be added some "weak" APC that is also cheap (small battlepoints price), then it could help improve the balance in the game. The loosing team could afford the cheap APC with weak armor and firepower, but place it in some good spot to help re-capture the objectives. Currently the "auto-generated" spawn points are becoming more and more useless, since people are getting aware of where they are. And they simply stand somewhere close enough to spawn kill the players in dire need of good spawn point to regain the initiative on the map. Another feature that would help players coordinate the gameplay is to allow the driver of an APC to see if the other players want to spawn inside it. So the player should be able to select APC as spawn point, but with disabled "deploy" button. Then the driver would see some notifications. I leave the details of how exactly to do this open.
  14. After changing the settings to "high" my framerate is "stable" 60 FPS. I add quotation marks because the game doesn't feel like 60 FPS, rather like 40. And I have a feeling it drops just in time when I'm in hot situation. ? PS. If I start the recording, the FPS immediately drops to 40 FPS, so that's about that if "no overheat" is considered. ?
