  1. I do not arrange the dates, the main organizers do. Most of the participants do in fact have a job, at least 80% are adults in their 20s, or 30s, and all of them are adults themselves. School holidays didn't even start when Breakthrough 1, 2, or 3 were being made, and school holidays actually ended a few weeks ago from now.
  2. Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the biggest brick wall of them all? Notloc? Oh. Yeah. I do suppose. This is kinda why I just stayed silent and watched you believe you're right despite the tens of people disagreeing with you. First off, I've seen you come to EU one day and get your ass handed to you at ninth place. Don't even speak about skill. You're mediocre. Second off, what really is cringe is the fact you think someone playing badly is actually capable of being cringy. Third, Point is pretty good. He racks up good amounts of points. And fourth, the most important one and the one which everyone but you and your buddy knows is that you don't know what's a fact and what's an opinion. For example you talk about how the TTK is low cause maths. Whatever the TTK is, it doesn't matter. The math may be right, but it doesn't mean people will like it or not just cause the math is right. Everyone has their preference. Some like low TTK some like high TTK. The math is a fact. The preference is an opinion. Get it in your head before you go on your next rampage because someone touched your sensitive spot.
  3. IDK about Sandwich cause I don't know him that well, but Meatsac is definitely not hacking. I know the TSA guys quite well and quite honestly, I'd doubt most of them would hack. But definitely not Meatsac, he's legit. EDIT: 9 kills 0 deaths is also pretty.... Average... not gonna lie. With all due respect to Meatsac, 9 kills and 2000 score is a pretty bad score. You got monkey there with 19 kills and 19.5k score which is pretty great.
  4. It's topics like these that really irk me. Game is in Early Access. It has a lot of interest. It keeps being worked on. There is no advertising done, and the last form of inviting people to play was the free weekend months ago. At this stage it only needs enough people to report bugs quickly enough, and on a scale big enough, to make sure the game meets its deadline. Saying that, I mean, 3 digits. That's it. 3 digits that care is better than 4 or 5 digits that just play. And then come these genius ideas... Like pulling the game off the market. lol. So what? So there's no one to test? So people can say "hahahaha they failed"? So that the same people who don't care and made the game fail, can have their stupid five minutes of "I told you so"? But in reality they're the ones who sank their own ship? No. This is not what the game needs. The game needs polish, and finishing, and then some advertising. The game barely got 500k sales, estimates say. Is that the entire gaming world? Is that the entire FPS world? No. No, no, no, no it is not. There is plenty of fish to catch, those who didn't hear a word about the game, or are even slightly interested. Want to help the game? Be constructive, rather than destructive. The latter is much easier, hence, most people choose that path. That's what's gonna get this game through. Not doomsayers. Not critics. Not those who whine about mechanics, bugs, glitches, performance or features. It's those who will report bugs, give proper constructive feedback, and, for a bit of the credit, those who play.
  5. This is not a bug. Speeds were changed, and iirc the tanks were supposed to be slower than before.
  6. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): When you are painting individual parts of a gun (or uniform), applying camouflages does not work after selecting a skin you haven't unlocked (and whether you purchase it or cancel it) you then cannot apply any skin you own. However, if you apply skins without first choosing one you haven't unlocked yet, all works fine. Video will be attached with it. GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 4129986 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): Go into any individual camo customization piece. Attempt to unlock something you haven't yet unlocked. Buy or cancel. Attempt to put on a skin you already own. It won't work. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): ------- CRASH LOG (if any): ------- Attached video
  7. https://worldwar3.com/en/2019/07/22/weekly-report-21-community-game-mode/ Massive thanks to DareQQ, Lugresky and Mike as this wouldn't have been started without them. Also a massive thanks to anyone and everyone who played or showed interest. It's amazing we achieved this. Thank you!
  8. Yep. It's labelled as "extra ammunition", so it's only a single mag (or 30 bullets, idk which gun gets how much.) You need to refill this with ammo boxes a lot more often. I assume it's by design so that it's not like everyone uses HP and cuts down the TTK by like 30% or even 50% or whatever the number is, cause otherwise there'd be little point in using AP or FMJ against people.
  9. That's not the same conquest I played Conquest was horrible compared to Warzone. Now if only people played it like Warzone and not conquest.... No but seriously, can't you see? If the team is capturing points, they win. Why should we enable TDM? Also I is a very good word because I makes up a team. Again, why are you trying to promote K/D in an objective game? PTFO is the key. Also, seriously, this is such a bad excuse for such a terrible game mechanic. Human resources? Ever took a look into history? Either way, this is not a reason to implement such a mechanic. It makes no sense to the game. Dying doesn't mean you're not helping your team. If you capture, you're helping your team. If you don't capture, you're not helping your team, easy as that. K/D doesn't matter. It is laughable to believe K/D means more than capturing, pleeeaase. There's already enough balance complaints. Imagine if this feature gets implemented? "LOOK GUYS WE HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN JUST KEEP KILLING THEM :DDDDDDDDD" "but we've lost all six of our points, we don't have any vehicle access, no BPs and we're being mowed down at any attempt to capture an objective" "IT'S OKAY GUYS THIS FEATURE IS GREAT" I think I'll leave it at that. Your words nor mine won't change anything, the devs would never implement such a thing.
  10. It worked so well, that conquest was just a TDM with side-quest objectives. I don't think you get it. If I have 20k+ BPs, and have a k/d of 28/35 like I had before, it means I am helping my team because I captured objectives. In this scenario, I would capture objectives and get punished for it because I didn't treat this like a TDM game. The game is about teamwork and not TDM, so why should I get punished for trying to get points where my team won't? No, this is not a reason to be punished and it is just thinking like the gamemode is TDM. Warzone. Isn't. K/D. Warzone is score and that's what should matter. The worry isn't BPs. The worry is objective play, which this feature will weaken. Enough is enough, it's time we promote objective play rather than K/D. I heard the devs had an idea to remove K/D from the scoreboard, and I fully back it.
  11. I'm sorry but I think the devs had a clear image of what the customization was to be, I think; Free for all to use, and free for all to show. I see absolutely no point destroying this as it is a very nice, key feature of the game. On top of this, the system seems stupidly complicated, like Atway has pointed out. I see no point in doing this. You're just wasting the customization potential of the game.
  12. This is so wrong. This isn't TDM. This is warzone, and your objective isn't to kill and not die, your objective is to take capture points. You cannot punish people for what others are doing right, or maybe even wrong. I have had games with a negative k/d with a kill difference of maybe -7, but I came top of the team with 20k+ points. We need to stop encouraging prioritizing killing over objective in this gamemode. It's already bad enough as it is when you have stubborn teammates who go for kills instead of objectives. Collective punishment is a no.
  13. With no offence, I think it is fairly over-exaggerated to be fair. These are event skins for the independence of a fairly major country, so I think it would make sense if they got theirs. After all, we already have a Polish one but it never started this scenario of people wanting their own country skins. I think it is nice to be able to have your own flag painted onto a gun and it is something a lot of people do with their weapons. I saw a cool one for Germany the other day, nothing ridiculous. Just some stripes on the receiver, and it is nice, I think, to have some skins for countries. I think it should stay permanent. The devs do not have to add every country skin into the game, and if anything, it is probably something a lot of people want to see for their own country, so I don't see where the issue is in all honesty. There's already body paints for different countries too. Plus, I rarely notice the paint on another player's weapon.
  14. Maybe a 1 to 10/15 (Lives, not RPG hits.)
  15. DESCRIPTION OF BUG (required: if the possible provide screenshots or video): When a tank is hit, there is a chance it will get teleported out of the map. This seems to be happening on every map. I'm posting this after it just happened to me on Polyarny at C1. Afterwards, I flew around 1008 meters away from the map, could drive under the terrain there, when the return to battle message was at 3 seconds, it went away and I could drive normally. Then my tank blew up. Afterwards, I saw my character's hands, and then I died too soon after. Couldn't respawn afterward, and attempts at respawns did nothing. GAME BUILD ID (required: please go to the game's properties on Steam and find it under the local files tab at the bottom): 3940880 STEPS TO REPRODUCE (required): Just get hit by an RPG. Doesn't always work, but when it does, it's pretty annoying. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS (required for crash or performance issues): x CRASH LOG (if any): x
  16. This is a very bad comparison. Around the 2:40 mark they said how it worked. First the round went through the first side, then it started the jet when leaving through the other side. When attacking armor, the jet is supposed to go through spaced armor or a thicker side, and then the projectile does, or attempts to do, damage. This is a game which takes a "playable realism path" and I think that there is nothing wrong with the current amount of RPGs needed to take out a tank. Tanks are strong, and if you use them wrong, they're weak, if you use them right, they're game changers. The trick is to not rush into a group of 6 enemies with RPGs. Avoid them or take them out from a safe distance before complaining they're too strong. We have enough people complaining tanks are OP as it is. A fully upgraded Leo can take 6-7 RPGs to the front and 2-3 to the back. This is enough HP for you to figure something out. It's not just point and click, it's supposed to be brains too. Ideally, if you see a group of 6 people and you're planning to get rid of them/escape alive at least, this is how it should go down. You notice the first guy so you kill him with your SH/HE round which you already have loaded. You are facing them frontally, so now it is 5 guys left against a front facing tank. You shoot down a second guy with your coaxial MG, so now it's 4 guys. At this point, they realize a tank is there, and start to shoot. You aim to the most exposed guy and gun him down with the MG again. At this point, it's 3 guys and your main shell is loaded back up. 3 guys RPG you, one RPG does down thanks to the APS, and 2 hit you. You splash damage one of the guys hiding behind cover with your main gun, and you managed to get away with only 2 hits to the front. Now you should be retreating, with only one enemy left standing. If you do not have the first sight on a large group of enemies, this will not work. It also means that somewhere down the line, you made a mistake.
  17. Quite frankly this is a very long post and thread so I won't be addressing every detail here, but I'll say this much; I absolutely love the laser designator idea. I think this is much better than having a free kill from anywhere on the map where you're absolutely invulnerable, on something that costs so much BP, for (currently) such a little price. This idea could make it so that teamwork or at least very smart positioning is a much more viable option, and I like this. It would also really add some immersion, and overall I love the idea. "Too dangerous for their user" Well, too dangerous for those who up to now play the game like Blitz in R6S, or for those who are way too used to using missiles from a safe location, as opposed to useful (and free) tools such as the RPG or AT mine. Big up, Dun.
  18. No, the person in charge may have misunderstood, wrongly presented, and or missed out on explaining it further. 64 players and large Warzone will return once they improve optimization and/or servers. It is answered on another AMA question, as far as I'm aware, however if not, it is still indicated a lot on Discord. It's been answered at least 10 times just to @Salt Lord alone. However, as the person who responded also said, Recon will feature larger maps and players on top of that, too. As for warzone, it is a matter of optimization and servers, no date is given.
  19. I'm sorry but this is all wrong. You can one or two hit literally any vehicle if you have TANDEM into the back. Maybe 3 if luck isn't on the side or there is an armor which opposite to my knowledge makes it a three hit tandem. Weak zones are there, I have no clue how you managed to get this. And BOIIII- There is a big difference between HE and APFSDS. What's the point of using APFSDS? Tanks, IFVs, AFVs, and literally anything that isn't a flesh target.
  20. Okay so after being guided here by a dev, I would like to show my idea on the forums this time as to the gun I have previously stated I'd love in the game, and would like most in the game - The Mk14. The gun is a modern DMR variation of the M14 Battle Rifle, so you could also include the M14 parts, and put the gun under the "Battle Rifle" category to accompany the lonely SCAR. It is a very aesthetically pleasing weapon, and it has a build much different to the guns already offered in the game. Here, have some pictures. I'm no guy for balance, so statistics I would leave up to the devs. Pretty please
  21. I kinda have to support the image I made, lul. Stealing my stuff Anyways, I think the more important bit here is that the engine change might mess it up and make some people leave, whether it be because of an unstable release to Live, or a way too long period of fixing on PTE. But due to the amount of people saying how animations are a big problem (Which I do not understand but whatever) it's probably a good idea to deliver it after the new animations on top of after the engine change. This will help sustain a playerbase, as well as guarantee a good number of players for new mode(s) to come. Also, free weekends aren't something that you can keep pulling off I think, if one or two go wrong, so this has to be something kept on the safe side.
  22. I believe it's not a problem (But that is just me, do note we have a lot of players already and limited room). We'll get more info soon As a side note, thank you everyone for coming. V3 was much better than the predecessors P.S. if any YouTuber has any recording it would be cool to throw it out there.
  23. I posted a discord invitation link in the thread two days ago, only made it back then. Must've missed that. PM me if you're going next time, I'd give you the password and discord link too.
  24. This is not true. CPs do change depending on size of the map. I cannot find a Moscow map image, but those CPs also do change. You can also see that the zones you would like to see used, are in fact used on Warzone large maps.
