Hey guys, Looking at the new roadmap and the current state of the game, I think a good version of WW3 can be presented by the end of June, but there are some things that I think need more fixing, and some more urgent than others. This thread is mainly for suggesting things that should be there before the free weekend goes live, because it could potentially go bad if the new players don't like it. The most important thing I'd like to see is VOIP at least having some form of video tutorial or in-game UI. I've had some squadmates use it in games before, and yet still haven't been able to figure it out myself even though I'm pretty good with computers most of the time. When I first saw the patch notes saying VOIP, I thought it was a mistake because I couldn't figure out how to use it and so assumed it was an error until I heard voices coming through. The point here is that this is not user friendly at all, and VOIP is a feature that is necessary for proper tactical gameplay in an FPS, so allowing people to believe that it doesn't even exist in the game right now won't score any points.
  2. First thing I wanted to say is that I love this new map, it is so much better, and thanks to the developers for the work they've put in. I've considered putting Polyarny in this same post, but I think it's best if we keep them separate because it might get busy here. Main things I like: - the map feels different to the urban maps in that it forces different combat styles - The buildings are awesome, I can't wait for this to hit live and to be stealthing through radar buildings trying to resist the urge to put my torch on - The bunker is probably my favourite part of any map in this game, this should be a TDM map because that would be awesome. Fighting in the bunker will just be the best. Things that need improvement: - There should be a more metallic noise when running up the stairs for the guard towers, maybe this seemed quite minor for the developers but I noticed it straight away - In C2 control point, some parts allow you to capture while standing inside a building, which is really cheese (picture 1) - Also at C2, when on the roof of one of the buildings the player can fall through an area that looks like it's covered (I get the impression there's a part that you should be able to drop down, but the actual mesh for this is the wrong size and a bit of a surprise) (picture 2) Can't wait to see this on the free weekend, 64 players running around will be absolute mayhem in a fun way
  3. Helicopter is one of the most important military equipment. So far, they were presented poorly in game. My suggestion is to add helicopter in to the game 1. Bigger map Map size should be huge so helicopter have room to maneuver. Aslo the base should be large and far from main battle to prevent spawn kill. 2. Transport Light and medium helicopter, use for transport troops, with side armament like Machine gun or Minigun. Spawn at base for everyone to use. Example: MH-6 Light Bird, UH-60 Blackhawk, UH-1Y Venom, Mi-17, NH-90, 3. Attack Helicopter Use BP to call 3 weapon slot for: Machine gun, rocket, ATGM, flare Example: AH-64 Apache,AH-1 Croba, Mi-24/35 Hind, Mi-28 Havoc, KA-52 Kamov, Eurocopter Tiger, .... 4. AA weapon AA rocket for infantry: FIM-92 Stinger, 9K333 Verba, Bristish Starstreak,.... AA vehicle system: M1097 Avenger, Russian ZSU , .....
