Is it just me or does this game seem dead?

This has to be one of the most useful threads ever on the forum. :D

So let's do some LotR references here. Remember the scene in the Two Towers, when Aragorn reminds Theoden that Helm's Deep will never fall as long as there are Rohirrim defending it? Ww3 will never be dead as long as there are players playing it. :D

It has a small but patient core of players left and during European evening times you will find one ore two populated games.

More generally speaking I hope the game's at a point of development similar to the scene in Return of the King when shortly before the Siege of Minas Tirith breaks loose when Gandalf tells Pippin that this is "the deep breath before the plunge". ^^

Not many players playing at the moment as they are waiting for 1.0 release, but don't worry game is not "dead" - you still find servers with players. Also currently we are on stage 0.8, more can be found here: https://worldwar3.com/en/development-roadmap/ and keep the eye on https://forum.worldwar3.com/index.php?/forum/2-news-and-official-announcements/

I've seen that servers tend to have issues with random disconnects, but I've decided to take a break from games (at least shooters) for now largely for personal reasons. I am also rather neck deep in studies too so gaming may be something I have to put off.

You would think with everyone home escaping the COVID-19 virus more people would be here. All the other games have had a huge uptick in players. This is the only game that I play that has less players playing it this past month.
