i7 3820

GTX 1080

16GB DDR3 2333mhz

1440p on an Asus PG279Q

I get 40 - 80 fps, usually ranging between 55 - 75.

All settings maxed, and all temps/loads are within reason (except GPU at 100% but that's fine).

Runs well for me!

I never get decent FPS and I had to lower most settings beside Texture and View distance, with those at ultra I get 50-70ish

I guess I will make post for this.

Yet only getting 35-60 FPS. Any tips?

One frame is enabled and V-Sync is always off. I'm kind of out of ideas.

  • I7 6800K
  • GTX 1070 Asus Strix
  • 16 GB DDR 4
  • 1080 P
  • Ultra / High
  • Shadows / Foliage Medium
  • Anti-Aliasing High

Hitting 55-110 FPS very unstable GPU usage only at 50-60 % Cpu usage 30 %.

I was getting better FPS by:

  • Enable OneFrame Thread LAg
  • Enable Framerate Smoothing

Game need a lot of optimization.

I wonder what Framerate Smoothing does?

PSA: If you have FPS stability problems - make sure you've enabled One Frame Thread Lag

renderTimingPixel.png

It's hidden in other games and set to default value - Enabled.

For some reason, F51 set it by default to Disabled when you start the game first time.

UE Documentation: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/Platforms/LowLatencyFrameSyncing

Crucial part:

When the r.OneFrameThreadLag CVar is enabled (as is the default), this syncing ensures that the game thread does not get more than one whole frame ahead of the rendering thread.

If your FPS is too low considering your rig or you have weird drops all the time - make sure it's ENABLED in Video Settings.

Here are my specs:

  • Ryzen 5 1600X OC'd @ 3.8GHz
  • 32GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz
  • 500GB Samsung Evo 850 SSD
  • ASUS Strix Vega 64
  • Windows 10

I'm setting everything on medium or high ingame. 60fps to start but then slowly going down when the match progresses. GPU and CPU usage don't go above 30% which kind of baffles me. I am sure my system is good enough to run at much higher frames but no luck so far.

I hope these issues will be addressed going forth

My specs:

  • i7 4790k 4.00GHz
  • GTX 980
  • 120GB Samsung SSD
  • 16GB Ram

and after messing around with the settings I was able to get a solid 100fps with these settings, and note "one frame thread lag" was enabled.2079438137_gfxsettingsww3.thumb.png.b34e4c6dc285a3e397b87c21dc6a992f.png

Ryzen 1700

MSI RX 480 8gb

16gb DDR4 3200

500gb Samsung Evo SSD

1080p

Running all high usually around 70-90 frames in most places, but on that rainy map(Don't know which one...)I drop to 30-40 depending on how much action is going on.

PC Specs
i7 2700k @ 3.5GHz
Zotac GTX 1070 Ti Mini
16 GB @ 1600MHz
Samsung 840 Evo 500 GB

Setting
1440p
Medium except for View Distance on Ultra
Enabled  One Frame Thread Lag
Disabled V-Sync
Disabled Motion Blur

Results
40 - 60 fps
25 - 40 % GPU Core Utilization
7 - 8GB VRAM Usage
9 - 10 GB RAM Usage

My Thoughts
Although I've recently upgraded from a GTX 780 to the GTX 1070 Ti (last month), I think its time to upgrade my CPU so I can use a 32GB kit in my ITX rig. Since at idle, I'm usually at 25% RAM usage, having 1-2GB spare while gaming is kinda nerve racking. Also might try framerate smoothing and dropping my view distance to High because I mostly fight only infantries.

Specs

3570k  @4.7ghz

8GB ram single channel (broken ran slots)

GTX 1060 3GB)

Settings

Doesn't matter. Same FPS either at all low or all high. (1080p)

Results

35-80fps but the average is somewhere between 40-50 on a full server sadly.

cpu is 100% usage.

gpu is ~60% usage with maxxed vram.

YIKES.

What is "yikes" about that?

Your processor is 6 years old and doesn't have hyperthreading, 8GB DDR3 is probably not enough. Your GPU is the best part of your setup, but it alone can't make up for the other components holding you back. With those specs, 40-50 fps is not terrible.

My processor is a 3000 series as well, so I'm going to get a new PC soon.

I7-7700

16GB DDR4 2666Mhz

GTX 1070Ti Overclocked

1920x1080 144Hz 1Ms Monitor

Everything low except view distance is high and textures medium. 135FPS for first game but due to memory leak every game after that looses about 10-15FPS until settling at 75-80FPS

I haven't really messed with settings much to see if I can improve performance due to working a lot so time is limited.
