Recoil and Weight

Recommended Posts

There is not much to write to this, so i`ll just as the question:

Does the Weight of weapon have impact on the recoil? Like for example will a lighter weapon have less recoil then a heavy weapon? (besides the weapon statistics of recoil)

No, but some customization elements influence the recoil (e.g. barrel length).

We have been thinking about this but there's a moment in which you need to limit the amount of variables the game can have because it would just slide into chaos. The game's already incredibly hard to balance as it is.

I don't know if you were meaning light=smaller caliber heavy=larger caliber or if you actually meant weight, but a lighter weight weapon will have MORE recoil than a heavy weapon in real life.  The heft of a weapon helps to reduce recoil, the lighter you make a weapon the more recoil you will feel. Just FYI...

I think you pretty much understood what i meant. I was thinking about it the other way around, as a lighter weapon might be easier to control. But i`m not a weapon expert i have never fired a weapon and i don`t really want to.

But thank you, that you clarified that for me, much appreciated :) The comment from the developer should also answer the question as it is.
