FPS Drops and Freesync not working (Intel CPU and AMD GPU)

DESCRIPTION OF BUG: At the beginning of a match I have around 110 to 140 FPS (locked at 140)  but at the end of the match my FPS drop down to 50 - 60 and i get horrible screen tearing (Freesync-Range 40 - 144FPS).

Ram usage of WW3 then is ~ 6,7 GB and CPU usage nearly 90%.

GAME BUILD ID: 3335211

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Always. Join a match and play a while.

SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS: Windows 10 1809, R9 390 (18.11.1 Driver) , i5 6500, 16 GB DDR4 and here is my GameUserSettings.ini:

Did you play in full screen?

Which monitor you have?

What's the GPU/CPU Usage during the beginning of the game and when the server is full?

What's the GPU/CPU Temperatures during the beginning of the game and when the server is full?

Yes, I use Fullscreen.

I have an Asus MG248Q.

CPU Usage and Temps always the same, just the RAM usage is higher.

CPU Usage: 88 %

RAM Usage: Beginning 6.4 GB , End 6,7 GB

CPU Temp: 54°C
GPU Temp: 59°C
Mainboard Temp: 37°C
SSD Temp: 27°C

Seems like your CPU is a bottleneck here, otherwise, your free-sync seems to be not right set-up. As more players join the match CPU has to work much harder, more calculations etc.

The game it's in still early acess and it's just my opinion.

I find out, that this mostly happens on servers with much players > 40. So i think you're right! Is there any way to reduce CPU usage of WW3? Any setting or secret tweak?

But why do I get tearing? My Freesync is set-up right. Maybe I should contact the AMD guys.

You can try, but you're not the first person with AMD problems here. Could be optimization.

Try to check for applications which also use CPU in the task manager when you play.

There are two reasons this might occur while the match is going on:

  1. Players are loading in and more players = less fps,
  2. We have a memory leak of some sort. 

Please take a look at player count during play and see if this happens only when more players are joining in. Also, try TDM and see if this also happens there - then we can figure it out.

1. True. I ONLY get FPS drops when there are much players on the server. But on Team-Deathmatch that problem is much smaller. The biggest FPS drops I have at Warzone. Doesn't depend on the map.

2. RAM Memory Leak or VRAM (GPU) Memory Leak? Is there any way for a workaround?

Ok, so that's normal, we're still optimizing the game and it will run better soon™. The more players there are, the less FPS you get, which is normal - more stuff = more things to calculate. We're currently heavily bound by the CPU and if you run your 6500 stock (up to 3,6Ghz), it will drop below 50 on Warzone. I know, because my 4770k @ 4.2Ghz also drops down to 50-60. 

As I said, it will get better, we have a lot to optimize - which is also normal for a game this early in development, you optimize after things are done, not before :)
